Cash and cash equivalents includes bank deposits and money market funds held with financial institutions with an original maturity of three months or less at the date of purchase.

Cash and cash equivalents balances include the face value of tickets sold on behalf of creators and their share of service charges, which are to be remitted to the creators. Such balances were $330.6 million and $268.6 million as of September 30, 2022 and December 31, 2021, respectively. Creator cash is legally unrestricted, and while generally the Company has not utilized creator cash for its own financing or investing activities in the past, the Company may invest a portion of creator cash in

short-term investments in future periods. These amounts due to creators are included in accounts payable, creators on the consolidated balance sheets. See Note 8, "Accounts Payable, Creators", for more details.

The Company has issued letters of credit relating to contracts entered into with other parties under lease agreements and other agreements which have been collateralized with cash. This cash is classified as noncurrent restricted cash on the consolidated balance sheets.
