| Subsequent Events [Text Block] | Subsequent Events In January 2024, the Company acquired Revela Foods, a Wisconsin-based developer and manufacturer of innovative dairy flavor ingredients and solutions, for $656 million, subject to working capital adjustments, and UK-based FDL, a leading developer and producer of premium flavor and functional ingredient systems, for $232 million. In February 2024, the Company acquired PT Trouw Nutrition Indonesia, a subsidiary of Nutreco and leading provider of functional and nutritional solutions for livestock farming in Indonesia, for $18 million, subject to working capital adjustments.
