Depreciation and amortization expense for property, equipment, and software was $3.5 million and $1.6 million for the three months ended September 30, 2024 and 2023, respectively, and $8.6 million and $4.1 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2024 and 2023, respectively.

There were no impairment charges for property, equipment, and software for each of the three months ended September 30, 2024 and 2023. Impairment charges on property, equipment, and software were $0.1 million and $0.4 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2024 and 2023, respectively.
