Reference is made to the Sub-Administration Agreement between us dated as of October 1, 2005, as amended and supplemented (the “Agreement”). Pursuant to the Agreement, this letter is to provide notice of:

(1) creation of Schwab International Bond ETF

In accordance with the Section 1 of the Agreement, we request that you act as Sub-Administrator with respect to each of the above listed Funds. A revised Appendix A to the Agreement and a revised Annex I to the Amendment dated June 29, 2018 are attached hereto. In connection with such request, we confirm to you, as of the date hereof, the representations and warranties set forth in Section 4 of the Agreement.
