| Strategy Narrative [Text Block] | Under normal circumstances,
We may invest in the equity securities of companies of any market capitalization. We seek to identify companies that have the prospect for robust sales and earnings growth rates, that enjoy a competitive advantage and that we believe have effective management with a history of making investments that are in the best interests of shareholders. Furthermore, we seek to identify companies that embrace innovation and foster disruption using technology to maximize efficiencies, gain pricing advantages, and take market share from competitors. We believe innovation found in companies on the “right side of change” are benefiting from technological, demographic, lifestyle and environmental trends, and are often mispriced in today’s public equity markets. This mispricing is a key inefficiency that the team seeks to exploit through intensive fundamental research. We pay particular attention to how management teams allocate capital in order to drive future cash flow; this includes the allocation of human capital, financial capital, and social capital. We believe successful allocation of such resources has a correlation with key indicators of future performance. Price objectives are determined based on industry-specific valuation methodologies, including relative price-to-earnings multiples, price-to-book value, operating profit margin trends, enterprise value to EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) and free cash flow yield. Portfolio holdings are continuously monitored for changes in fundamentals. The team seeks a favorable risk/reward relationship to fair valuation, which we define as the value of the company (i.e., our price target for the stock) relative to where the stock is currently trading. We may invest in any sector, and at times the Fund may emphasize one or more particular sectors. We may choose to sell a holding when it no longer offers favorable growth prospects, reaches our target price, or to take advantage of a better investment opportunity.

| Strategy Narrative [Text Block] | Under normal circumstances, we invest:
We may invest in the equity securities of companies of any market capitalization. We seek companies that we believe are underpriced yet offer attractive growth prospects. Our process begins with fundamental analysis to determine a company’s private market valuation which is the price an informed investor might pay for the entire business. The analysis includes reviewing key financial metrics, competitive positioning, industry dynamics, and management quality. We compare this valuation to the public market price and invest where we see a significant gap. To complement our fundamental analysis, we incorporate systematic tools that provide additional insight into portfolio risk characteristics and factor exposures. We believe these tools enhance our decision-making by informing portfolio construction and supporting a balanced risk and return assessment over time. As part of our investment process, an assessment of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors that are deemed to have material business and/or financial risk may be considered alongside other relevant factors. The ESG factors utilized in the Fund’s investment process may change over time, some factors may not be relevant with respect to all stocks and may or may not be determinative in the security selection process.
We may sell a holding when its price no longer offers an attractive risk/reward, fundamentals deteriorate, or to manage risk and reallocate toward more attractive opportunities. |

| Strategy Narrative [Text Block] | Under normal circumstances, we invest:
We invest principally in equity securities of small-capitalization companies that we believe have prospects for robust and sustainable growth of revenues and earnings. We define small-capitalization companies as those with market capitalizations within the range of the Russell 2000® Index at the time of purchase. The market capitalization range of the Russell 2000® Index was approximately $3.67 million to $37.94 billion as of March 31, 2026, and is expected to change frequently. We seek to identify companies that have the prospect for robust sales and earnings growth rates, that enjoy a competitive advantage and that we believe have effective management with a history of making investments that are in the best interests of shareholders. We invest in equity securities of small- and medium-capitalization companies that we believe offer favorable opportunities for growth. We define small- and medium capitalization companies as those with market capitalizations at the time of purchase equal to or lower than the company with the largest market capitalization in the Russell Midcap® Index, which was approximately $109.86 billion as of March 31, 2026, and is expected to change frequently. We may also invest in equity securities of foreign issuers through ADRs and similar investments. We seek to identify companies that have the prospect for robust sales and earnings growth rates, that enjoy a competitive advantage and that we believe have effective management with a history of making investments that are in the best interests of shareholders. | Strategy Narrative [Text Block] | The Fund invests in equity and fixed income securities with an emphasis on equity securities. Under normal circumstances, we invest at least 80% of the Fund’s net assets in equity and fixed income securities designed to replicate the holdings and weightings of the securities comprising the S&P 500 Index and Bloomberg U.S. Treasury Index. We seek to achieve the Fund’s investment objective by allocating at least 45% and up to 75% of its assets in equity securities and at least 25% and up to 55% of its assets in fixed income securities. The Fund does not select individual securities for investment; rather, it buys substantially all of the securities of various indexes to replicate such indices. The Fund invests the equity portion of its assets in common stocks to replicate the S&P 500 Index, and invests the fixed income portion of its assets in U.S. Treasury notes and bonds to replicate the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury Index. We seek to maintain 95% or better performance correlation with the respective indexes, before fees and expenses, regardless of market conditions. We employ both quantitative analysis and qualitative judgments in making tactical allocations among stocks and bonds. Quantitative analysis involves the use of proprietary asset allocation models, which employ various valuation techniques. Qualitative judgments are made based on assessments of a number of factors, including economic conditions, corporate earnings, monetary policy, market valuations, investor sentiment, and technical market factors. We use futures contracts to implement changes to target allocations and to make adjustments to the duration of the Fund’s fixed income portion. The percentage of Fund assets that we invest in different asset classes may temporarily deviate from the Fund’s target allocations due to changes in market values. We may use cash flows or effect transactions to re-establish the target allocations.
